Practice %E2%80%93 All golfers need to practice. and other than professionals. no one practices enough. The %E2%80%9Cshort game%E2%80%9D is the most important part of golf. over 75%25 of your shots will occur within 100 yards of the green. Find a course nearby where you can go 2 or 3 times a week and spend just 1 hour chipping and putting.

P.G.A. %E2%80%93 Posture. Grip. Alignment. Setting up correctly with good P.G.A.. gives the beginner one less thing to worry about when hitting a shot.

Patience %E2%80%93 Even professional golfers do not hit every shot well. As a beginner you’ll be doing well to hit every third or fourth shot well. Don’t let a bad shot get you upset and ruin your chances of hitting the next shot well. You’re going to hit bad shots. everyone does. it’s not the end of the world.
